The quickest way to get paid by an online casino is usually an instant bank transfer or, at crypto casinos, a coin withdrawal; cards and most e-wallets take a day or two longer. Which method you choose also decides whether you can take a bonus, whether you can withdraw by the same route, and which fees apply. This guide checks each method type against the published terms of the ten casinos we review, as read on 15 October 2026.

Which payment method pays out fastest?

Among the casinos we review, the fastest written target is BitStarz’s: its terms commit to attempting every payout within 60 minutes. For euro players at the Malta and Estonia-licensed sites, instant bank transfer is the quickest route, handled on the same working day and normally received by the next one. Cards and e-wallets come after that, typically within 48 hours on the casino side.

Speed has two halves, and casinos only control the first. Processing is the casino approving and sending the money; arrival is your bank, card scheme or wallet crediting it. A casino can approve a card withdrawal in an hour, and the card network can still take several working days to show it. When you compare promises, read which half the number describes.

Here is how the published targets line up across our reviews:

  • BitStarz: section 8.7.1 of the terms promises an attempt at every payout inside 60 minutes, and 8.7.8 quotes an average of about ten minutes.
  • Slot Owl, Winsly and Goldroll: bank-transfer cash-outs processed the same working day, usually arriving within one working day, with 72 hours as the formal ceiling in the terms.
  • Quickz and Taste Vegas: instant banking first, other methods “usually finalised within 48 hours”, 72 hours in the terms.
  • Slot Pony: instant bank transfers the same working day, other methods within two working days.
  • Tenobet: withdrawals normally handled within three banking days (section 6.6).
  • Stake and 7Bit Casino: no processing time published in the terms we read.

Verified accounts move faster everywhere. A first withdrawal is where most delays happen, because that is when identity and address documents are checked, so send them before you need the money.

Method by method: what the cashiers show and the terms allow

The table below condenses what the payments pages and terms of our reviewed casinos say about each method family. It covers the routes most international players see: cards, instant bank, e-wallets, prepaid vouchers, mobile wallets, Revolut, Interac and crypto. Columns show the usual withdrawal route, the casino-side speed and the catch worth knowing first.

Cards and instant bank transfers

Visa and Mastercard are accepted at all six Malta and Estonia-licensed casinos we review, and instant bank transfer is the route most of the Malta and Estonia-licensed brands recommend. Both are familiar and need no extra account. The difference shows on the way out: instant bank payouts are processed the same working day, while card refunds depend on the card scheme and your issuing bank.

Instant bank transfer works like logging in to online banking from the cashier and approving a payment there. Slot Owl, Winsly and Slot Pony mark it as available only in selected regions, and none of the payments pages names the provider behind it, so the logo you see may change by country. Goldroll lists Sofort and RapidTransfer separately, and both of those pay out by bank transfer too.

Cards carry two practical risks. First, some banks decline gambling transactions or let customers switch on a gambling block, which is useful for anyone who wants it and confusing for anyone who forgot they set it. Second, a card withdrawal is technically a refund to the card, and not every card can receive one; Goldroll’s payments page says it pays to the card where possible and to a bank account otherwise. In Britain, credit cards have been banned for gambling since 14 April 2020, and Australia banned them for licensed wagering from 11 June 2024, but neither market is a target for the casinos on this site.

E-wallets: Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Jeton and Payz

E-wallets keep gambling money in a separate account and pay out to the same wallet, often faster than a card. Their drawback is bonus eligibility. Every casino we review that runs on the shared Malta and Estonia terms excludes e-wallet deposits from casino deposit bonuses, and Frenwall’s sites name Jeton, MiFinity, Neteller and Skrill specifically.

The wording differs slightly by operator. Clause 2.5 of the bonus terms at Slot Owl and Winsly says deposits via Jeton, MiFinity, Neteller and Skrill “are strictly excluded” from all casino deposit bonuses and that the system blocks the bonus automatically. Goldroll, Quickz, Taste Vegas and Slot Pony use a looser formula in their own clause 2.5: e-wallets “like” Neteller, Skrill and Paysafe Card do not qualify, with the promotion terms naming any other method that is not allowed. Sportsbook bonuses are not affected by that clause.

A simple consequence: if you want a welcome match, fund the first deposit by card or bank transfer, and use the e-wallet later. If you would rather skip bonuses, an e-wallet is often the tidiest route, because the same wallet receives the withdrawal and your bank statement shows one transfer to the wallet provider rather than to the casino.

A note on names. The wallet once called ecoPayz rebranded as Payz in May 2023, keeping the same accounts and logins. Goldroll’s payments page still lists it as “EcoPayz”, paying out to the same wallet. Provider fees for wallets differ by country, currency and account tier, so read the provider’s own fee page before you move money in and out; the casino’s statement that it charges no fee does not cover what the wallet charges.

Prepaid vouchers: Paysafecard, Neosurf, Flexepin and CashtoCode

Vouchers let you deposit without sharing card or bank details, which is their whole appeal. They are one-way: no voucher can receive money back. Goldroll, the only casino in our reviews that lists all four, routes every voucher withdrawal to a bank transfer, so you still need a bank account in your own name before you can cash out.

Voucher deposits also tend to fall foul of bonus rules. Paysafe Card is one of the examples in the e-wallet exclusion of Goldroll’s bonus terms, and the same clause appears at the Malta-licensed sister sites. If you buy a voucher to claim a welcome match, read the promotion terms first.

Plan the round trip before the first deposit. A voucher deposit followed by a withdrawal triggers identity checks, and the bank account you name has to match the account holder. Players who deposit by voucher because they do not want a bank link to the casino will find that the withdrawal creates one anyway.

Apple Pay, Google Pay and Revolut

Mobile wallets are a quick way to pay from a phone, but they are only a wrapper around your card. Apple Pay appears at Goldroll, Slot Owl, Slot Pony, Quickz and Taste Vegas, and Goldroll pays Apple Pay withdrawals by bank transfer. Google Pay shows among Tenobet’s cashier logos. Revolut is offered by Slot Pony, Winsly, Goldroll and Tenobet.

Because Apple Pay and Google Pay draw on a card stored in the phone, the issuing bank’s gambling rules still apply, and so do any blocks you have set on that card. Revolut sits between a card and a bank account: at Goldroll a Revolut deposit sits on the same row as Visa and Mastercard, paying out to the card where possible and to a bank account otherwise. If you see Revolut or Apple Pay at a casino, check the cashier’s withdrawal tab before you rely on getting money back the same way.

Interac for Canadian players

Interac is the Canadian bank-transfer network, and it appears only for Canadian visitors. Winsly lists it on its payments page, Slot Owl’s Canadian site promises Interac payouts within one working day, and BitStarz showed Interac limits of CA$50 to CA$10,000 per transaction through a Canadian connection. Ontario residents should use sites registered with iGaming Ontario instead.

The rest of Canada is not regulated the same way as Ontario, which is why offshore casinos still serve it. Interac transfers come from your own bank account, so your casino profile and the bank account have to be in one and the same name, and the same-method rule usually sends the withdrawal back through Interac. Canadian dollar accounts avoid conversion: Goldroll, for example, processes only in euros, so a Canadian paying in through a card would pay a currency margin both ways.

Crypto deposits and withdrawals

Crypto is the native currency at BitStarz, 7Bit Casino and Stake, and Tenobet shows crypto among its methods. Payouts can be quick, the casino often charges nothing, and the coins arrive in a wallet you control. The risks are different from fiat: network fees paid by the sender, price moves while you hold coins, and losses from sending on the wrong network.

BitStarz lists twelve cryptocurrencies plus Bitcoin over the Lightning Network, charges no withdrawal fee under section 8.7.10, and showed CA$50 to CA$50,000 per crypto transaction in its Canadian view. It also sets a hard rule for mistakes: under 8.6.9 a deposit made on the wrong chain is chased only when it is worth more than $5,000; BitStarz charges 0.1 BTC for trying and promises nothing. Stake supports over twenty coins and tokens, sells crypto inside the wallet through MoonPay, and reserves the right in clause 8.9 to charge a withdrawal fee at its discretion. In its international terms 7Bit Casino lets EUR 10,000 leave in any seven-day window and EUR 40,000 in a month.

EU residents have an extra rule to know about. Since the transfer-of-funds regulation, (EU) 2023/1113, took effect at the end of December 2024, a crypto provider handling a transfer above EUR 1,000 to or from a wallet you hold yourself has to assess whether that wallet is really yours. Expect questions from your exchange if you send larger sums to a casino wallet or receive them back. Networks, confirmation times and coin choices are covered on our crypto casinos page.

What are the withdrawal limits at the casinos we review?

Most of the Malta and Estonia-licensed brands use the same ceilings: EUR 5,000 in a rolling 24 hours and EUR 20,000 in 30 days, with EUR 20 as the smallest withdrawal. Tenobet is far tighter: nothing under EUR 100 can leave, and its caps are EUR 1,000 per day with EUR 10,000 per month on top. Limits matter more than speed once you win big, because they decide how many months a payout takes.

Casino Smallest withdrawal Day cap Longer cap Written processing target Fee clause in the terms
Slot Owl, Winsly Not separately stated EUR 5,000 / 24 h EUR 20,000 / 30 days Same working day (bank), 72 h formal Service fee up to 10%, min EUR 2
Slot Pony EUR 20 EUR 5,000 / 24 h EUR 20,000 / 30 days Same working day (bank), 2 working days others 5% (min EUR 10) on refunding an unplayed deposit
Quickz, Taste Vegas EUR 20 EUR 5,000 / rolling day EUR 20,000 / 30 days 48 h usual, 72 h formal 5% (min EUR 10) on deposit refunds
Goldroll Not separately stated EUR 5,000 / 24 h EUR 20,000 / 30 days Same working day (bank), 72 h formal Percentage charge possible, displayed in the cashier first
Tenobet EUR 100 EUR 1,000 EUR 10,000 / month Usually 3 banking days Not stated
7Bit Casino Per cashier None stated EUR 10,000 / 7 days, EUR 40,000 / month Not published EUR 20 a month after 12 months inactive
BitStarz Per cashier Per method (CA$10,000 fiat, CA$50,000 crypto per transaction, Canadian view) Large wins may be paid monthly (8.7.3) 60 minutes (8.7.1) None (8.7.10)
Stake Shown in the wallet None published None published Not published Discretionary withdrawal fee (8.9)

Take a EUR 23,500 win as an example. At a EUR 5,000 daily and EUR 20,000 monthly cap, EUR 20,000 can leave in the first month and the remaining EUR 3,500 at the start of the next. At Tenobet’s EUR 10,000 a month, the same sum needs three calendar months. Our Tenobet review works through the small-balance side of that rule as well.

Fees: what the terms allow, and who charges them

Fees come from three places: the casino, the payment provider and your own bank. Most casinos we review say only that fees “may” apply depending on method, bank and country, but a few write specific clauses. The broadest is Frenwall’s, used at Slot Owl and Winsly, which lets the operator add its own handling charge on any transaction, capped at a tenth of the amount and never below EUR 2.

That clause is a ceiling, not a published rate, and the cashier is the place to see whether anything is actually charged. Its effect would be largest on small sums: on a EUR 18 withdrawal, the EUR 2 minimum alone would be more than 11%. Our Slot Owl review explains why our rating method takes half a point off banking for any percentage-fee clause.

Section 4.3 at Goldroll reserves a percentage charge on cash-outs, which the cashier is meant to display before you press confirm, and section 5 lets it keep 5% (EUR 10 at minimum) of any unplayed deposit you ask to have refunded. Slot Pony, Quickz and Taste Vegas carry the same 5% refund rule, although Slot Pony and Quickz let you take back an untouched cash deposit free of charge if you ask within 24 hours of paying it in. At the crypto end, BitStarz states no withdrawal fees; Stake keeps the right to charge one.

Currency conversion is the quiet fee. Goldroll processes and pays only in euros, so a player whose account is in another currency is converted twice. On a EUR 260 deposit and withdrawal, a 1.5% margin each way would cost about EUR 7.80 before a single bet. A euro account or a multi-currency card avoids it.

The same-method rule and identity checks

Almost every casino we review sends withdrawals back to the method you deposited with, and it must be in your name. Identity checks become compulsory once deposits or withdrawals reach EUR 2,000 at the Malta and Estonia-licensed brands, a threshold that comes from EU anti-money-laundering law. Plan both rules before your first deposit, not after a win.

The EUR 2,000 figure is set by Article 11(d) of Directive (EU) 2015/849, which requires gambling providers to carry out customer due diligence when a player’s stakes or winnings reach EUR 2,000, whether in one transaction or several linked ones. Slot Owl and Winsly make documents mandatory at that point; Slot Pony requires them at the latest at EUR 2,000 in deposits; Quickz makes checks compulsory when total deposits hit EUR 2,000. Above EUR 2,000 in deposits, Goldroll also wants a short questionnaire on how you fund your play. Tenobet checks on the first withdrawal (section 6.1), and Stake can ask at any time.

The same-method rule exists for the same reason. If you paid in with a voucher, which cannot receive money, the casino picks a bank transfer instead. Where you used two methods, the casino may split the payout between them, or pay it to the one that can receive money. Clause 8.3 of Stake’s terms puts it in one line: payouts use the funding route when they can, and may be divided between routes.

A short pre-deposit checklist keeps first withdrawals moving:

  1. Register with your legal name exactly as it appears on your ID and payment account.
  2. Use only payment methods registered to you; a card or wallet in someone else’s name gives operators grounds to void winnings.
  3. Upload ID and a recent proof of address before you request a payout.
  4. Check whether your deposit must be wagered first: 1x at most of our casinos, three times at 7Bit Casino, rising to ten times for players of live and table games, 100% of the deposit at Stake.
  5. Make your first withdrawal a small one, so you learn the timing before a large balance depends on it.

How does your payment method affect bonuses?

Your deposit method can decide whether a bonus activates at all. E-wallets and vouchers are the usual exclusions: Frenwall blocks Jeton, MiFinity, Neteller and Skrill from casino deposit bonuses, and the Malta-licensed sites exclude e-wallets such as Neteller, Skrill and Paysafe Card. Cards, instant bank transfers and Apple Pay normally qualify, unless the promotion terms say otherwise.

Two more interactions are worth knowing. Deposit turnover rules apply whether or not you take a bonus: each deposit needs at least one round of play before withdrawal at most of our casinos. And withdrawing while a bonus is active usually cancels the bonus and its winnings. The maths of playthrough, bet limits and conversion caps is set out in our guide to wagering requirements.

Payment methods that changed or closed

Payment brands come and go, and older guides still name some that no longer exist under the same name. Two changes affect players most often: ecoPayz became Payz in May 2023, and the Australian bank-payment service POLi closed on 30 September 2023. If a casino or guide still names either the old way, treat the rest of its banking page with caution.

The Payz change was a rename of the same wallet, so old accounts and logins carried over. POLi was different: its Australian service stopped on that date (the closure did not cover New Zealand), so an Australian cashier still showing it is out of date. Neither change touches the substance of what you should check, which is who receives your money, whether the route can pay you back, and under which licence the casino operates. Our licence-check guide covers that last step register by register.

Questions readers send us about casino payments

Can I withdraw to a different method than the one I deposited with?

Usually only when the original method cannot receive money. Vouchers such as Paysafecard and Neosurf are paid out by bank transfer instead, and Goldroll routes some cards to a bank account. Otherwise the casinos we review return withdrawals to the deposit method, which must be in your own name.

Why was my bonus not added after a Skrill deposit?

Because the bonus terms exclude it. Slot Owl and Winsly block casino deposit bonuses for Jeton, MiFinity, Neteller and Skrill, and the Malta-licensed sister sites exclude e-wallets such as Neteller, Skrill and Paysafe Card. Use a card or bank transfer for the deposit that should carry the bonus.

When will a casino ask for my ID?

At the latest when your deposits or withdrawals reach EUR 2,000, the threshold set by the EU anti-money-laundering directive, at the Malta and Estonia-licensed casinos we review. Some ask earlier, Tenobet asks on the first withdrawal, and Goldroll asks deposits above EUR 2,000 to be explained in a funding questionnaire.

Do casinos charge withdrawal fees?

Some terms allow them. Frenwall’s terms permit a service fee of up to 10% with a EUR 2 minimum, Goldroll reserves a percentage charge that the cashier displays first, and Stake can charge one at its discretion. BitStarz states no withdrawal fees. Your bank or wallet can add its own charges.

Is crypto always faster than a bank transfer?

Not always. BitStarz targets 60 minutes, but Stake and 7Bit Casino publish no processing time, and arrival depends on the blockchain’s traffic once coins leave the casino. A same-working-day bank transfer from a Malta-licensed site can be just as quick in practice.

Can I still use ecoPayz or POLi?

The wallet once called ecoPayz still exists, renamed Payz since May 2023. POLi, the bank-payment service once common at Australian cashiers, stopped processing Australian payments on 30 September 2023; that closure was for Australia, not New Zealand. An Australian cashier still offering it is out of date.

Gambling should stay within money you can afford to lose. Deposit limits and self-exclusion tools are listed on our responsible gambling page.
