Four casinos we review take Bitcoin and other coins in their own cashiers: BitStarz, Stake, 7Bit Casino and Tenobet. None of them holds an EU licence, so the real comparison is about which offshore regulator stands behind each one, how its terms treat your coins, and how fast the money can leave. BitStarz leads on 3.9 out of 5 because its terms put a written one-hour payout target and coin-by-coin minimums in plain view.

The crypto ledger: four casinos side by side

Every figure below comes from the operator’s own terms as we read them in October 2026, and each row links to the review where the clause numbers are listed. Scores come from our published rating method only. Read the last column first: if your country is on a casino’s banned list, nothing else in its row matters.

Casino Score Licence (register) Playthrough Bet limit while wagering Withdrawal cap Who cannot join
BitStarz 3.9 Holder Gareton B.V.; CGA number OGL/2024/165/0185, checked at cga.cw 40x the bonus, 7 days 0.00006 BTC or 5 EUR/USD/USDT None fixed; very large wins may be paid monthly US, UK, France, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland and about 50 more
Stake 3.6 Holder Medium Rare N.V.; CGA number OGL/2024/1451/0918, checked at cga.cw No welcome match; every deposit wagered 1x No bonus, so none Not published 44 countries plus Ontario, including the US, UK, Australia and most of the EU
7Bit Casino 3.6 Holder Saphirix Solutions SRL; Tobique number 0000091, checked through the footer seal 35x the bonus, 14 days 12 μBTC or EUR 1 a spin EUR 10,000 in any 7-day window; EUR 40,000 monthly US, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and about 50 more territories
Tenobet 3.1 Holder Softon Ltd; Anjouan number ALSI-202409012-FI1, checked on the Anjouan register Set in each offer’s own terms Set in each offer’s own terms EUR 1,000 daily; EUR 10,000 monthly US, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Austria, Netherlands, Cyprus, Sweden

Two patterns stand out. The Curaçao pair scores higher on licence than the Anjouan and Tobique pair, and the casinos with the most generous packages are also the ones with the tightest withdrawal rules. Readers in Sweden, the Netherlands and Germany should note that their countries regulate online casinos locally; we do not recommend offshore crypto sites to them.

Which coins and networks do these casinos accept?

BitStarz lists twelve cryptocurrencies, Stake more than twenty coins and tokens, and 7Bit twelve cryptocurrencies next to its fiat accounts. Tenobet shows crypto among its payment logos but reveals the exact coins only inside the cashier after login, so we cannot confirm its list. In every case the coin is only half of the choice: the network you send it on is the other half.

Casino Coins named by the operator Network detail we could read Smallest deposit published
BitStarz BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, XRP, DOGE, ADA, BNB, TRX, USDT, SOL, USDC Bitcoin on-chain or over Lightning 0.0001 BTC; 0.005 ETH; 10 USDT
Stake BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, LTC, BNB, TRX, DOGE, BCH, DAI and others Network chosen in the wallet for each token Shown in the wallet
7Bit Casino Twelve coins, including BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, XRP, TRX, BNB, ADA and USDT Not listed on a page we could render 0.24 mBTC to qualify for the bonus
Tenobet Only visible after login Only visible after login Not published outside the cashier

Stablecoins such as USDT and USDC exist on several blockchains at once. The token is the same in name, but a transfer on one chain cannot be read by an address that only watches another. That is why each casino’s deposit screen asks for the network before it shows an address. For the full list of fiat options at the same brands, see our payment methods guide.

Who pays the network fee?

The sender pays it, every time. A blockchain charges a fee to whoever broadcasts a transaction, so on a deposit the fee comes out of your wallet, and on a withdrawal the casino either absorbs it or deducts it. BitStarz says neither it nor its processor charges withdrawal fees (8.7.10); Stake’s clause 8.9 lets it charge a fee at its discretion. Fees on busy networks such as Bitcoin rise with congestion.

Because fees and coin prices change by the minute, we do not quote them here. What you can control is the structure of your transfers:

  • One larger deposit costs one network fee; five small ones cost five.
  • A stablecoin on a low-fee chain usually costs less to move than Bitcoin on-chain, but check that the casino supports that exact chain.
  • Your own wallet shows the fee before you confirm. If it looks large next to the amount, wait or pick another network.
  • Exchanges add their own withdrawal fee on top of the network fee when you send from an exchange account.

What happens if you send coins on the wrong network?

Usually you lose them, and the terms say so. BitStarz will only try to retrieve such a transfer if it is worth more than $5,000; the attempt costs 0.1 BTC, success is not promised, and the error must be reported inside seven days (8.6.9). Below a coin’s published minimum, a BitStarz deposit can be neither credited nor returned (8.6.8). Stake’s own deposit guide warns that tokens sent on the wrong chain can be lost.

A practical routine prevents almost every such mistake:

  1. Open the cashier, pick the coin, then pick the network, and only then copy the address.
  2. Paste it into your wallet and compare the first and last six characters with the cashier screen.
  3. Check that your wallet is sending on the same network named beside the address.
  4. Send a small test amount the first time, above the casino’s minimum.
  5. Save the transaction hash. Pasted into any public block explorer, it shows whether and when the coins landed.

Copy the address fresh for every deposit. Some cashiers rotate addresses, and an old one saved in your wallet may no longer be watched.

Is Lightning worth using for casino deposits?

For small, quick Bitcoin deposits it can be. Lightning is a payment layer on top of Bitcoin that settles transfers off the main chain, so it is typically faster and cheaper than an on-chain payment. Among our four brands, only BitStarz says it accepts Bitcoin over Lightning, from 0.0001 BTC. You pay a Lightning invoice from a Lightning-capable wallet instead of sending to an ordinary address.

Three cautions apply. An on-chain wallet cannot pay a Lightning invoice, so check your wallet first. Invoices usually expire, so pay promptly or generate a new one. And Lightning suits small amounts better than large ones, because big payments may fail to find a route through the network. If a payment fails, the funds normally stay in your wallet; do not resend until the cashier shows the first attempt as failed or expired.

Do crypto casinos really skip identity checks?

No. Every one of our four reserves the right to ask for documents. Stake’s clause 4.8 allows identity or location requests at any time and lets it restrict play until satisfied; clause 8.12 permits further checks before any payout. BitStarz can request documents at any point, typically before larger cash-outs. Tenobet checks identity on the first withdrawal (section 6.1). Signing up with an email address is not the same as never being verified.

The claim behind “no-KYC casino” adverts is usually narrower than it sounds: you can register and play small amounts without uploading anything. As balances grow, anti-money-laundering duties push operators to ask who you are, where you live and where the money came from. The worst moment to find that out is with a large withdrawal pending. Our advice is plain: have a passport or ID card, a recent address document and, for bigger sums, evidence of the source of your coins (an exchange statement works) ready before you deposit.

Casino When the terms allow checks Clause
Stake At any time; enhanced checks before fiat payouts 4.8, 8.6, 8.12
BitStarz At any point, typically before larger withdrawals Terms, account section
7Bit Casino Under the verification rules of whichever contract you accept International or Canadian terms
Tenobet On the first withdrawal 6.1

Turnover before cash-out: the crypto rule people miss

Several crypto casinos require deposits to be played before they can be withdrawn, even without a bonus. These rules exist mainly to stop the cashier being used to launder or swap coins, but they still decide how quickly unused money can leave. Stake demands 100% of each deposit in bets (clauses 8.5 and 8.10). At 7Bit the multiple is three, rising to ten when the deposit is played on table or live games. Tenobet can refuse a withdrawal of a deposit not wagered at least once (6.5).

A worked example with our own numbers: deposit 0.0035 BTC at 7Bit, change your mind after a few spins and ask for the coins back. Under the 3x rule, 0.0105 BTC of bets must be placed first; if you played roulette, the 10x rule means 0.035 BTC. At Stake the same deposit needs 0.0035 BTC of bets. The lesson is simple: send only what you mean to play, because a crypto cashier is not a savings account.

How does provably fair work?

Provably fair is a commitment scheme. Before you bet, the casino publishes a hash of a secret server seed. Your side adds a client seed, either your own or a default one, and a counter called the nonce rises by one with every bet. Once you rotate to a new seed pair, the old server seed is disclosed: hashing it should reproduce the published hash, and feeding the seeds and nonce into a verifier should reproduce every result. A match proves the outcome was fixed before your bet and not changed afterwards.

What it does not prove matters just as much:

  • It does not lower the house edge. Stake’s Dice publishes a 99% return, so a 1% edge is built in and fully “provable”.
  • It covers only the games that use the scheme. At Stake that is the in-house Originals; at 7Bit the BGaming titles listed on its fair-games page. Slots from outside studios and live dealer tables are covered instead by each supplier’s tested random number generator or studio controls.
  • You must actually check. The proof exists only for players who rotate seeds and recompute results with a verifier.

BitStarz also runs an Originals section of quick in-house games, but we could not confirm from its pages which titles use a seed-based proof. If a game’s fairness page offers no verifier link, treat it as an ordinary RNG title.

Price volatility: your balance is a position

When a casino holds your balance in the coin you deposited, its euro value moves with the market while you play and while you wait for a withdrawal. Section 8.6.5 of the BitStarz terms rules out conversion between coins and fiat, and Stake’s wallet likewise holds whatever coin you sent. Tenobet works the other way: the balance is held in your account currency, such as EUR, so price swings after the deposit no longer affect it.

Consider a player who deposits 0.0042 BTC and ends a session level, with 0.0042 BTC still in the account. If bitcoin falls 15% before the withdrawal arrives, the euro value of that unchanged balance is 15% lower; if it rises, it is higher. Nothing about the casino changed. Two simple habits reduce the effect: use a stablecoin if you want a steady euro value, and cash out any profit you intend to keep instead of parking it in the casino account. Gambling is not a way to trade crypto, and a falling market is never a reason to chase losses.

What do Curaçao, Anjouan and Tobique licences actually give you?

A licence tells you who is accountable and how a complaint travels; it does not guarantee a payout. All three regulators behind our crypto brands license operators that serve international players, but none of them rules on individual disputes itself, which is why our method scores them 3.0 to 3.5 out of 5 against 5.0 for Malta. The differences lie in how you verify the licence and where a complaint goes.

Regulator Brands here How to verify Where a complaint goes
Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) BitStarz, Stake; 7Bit’s Canadian contract Footer number against the CGA’s information at cga.cw Raise it with the casino; if unresolved, choose one of seven ADR bodies the CGA has certified (its list is dated 31 August 2026)
Anjouan Tenobet Click the site’s seal; a bare-domain lookup always says invalid Lodged through the seal; the casino gets 30 days to answer, a dispute over a game result must be raised inside 14 days, and the last step is an ADR service the operator funds
Tobique Gaming Commission 7Bit (most international visitors) Click the footer seal; a domain-only search returns invalid Casino first; 7Bit’s terms name EGIS as the outside dispute body

Curaçao. Since 24 December 2024 the island has run on its national ordinance for games of chance, the Landsverordening op de kansspelen (LOK). Each operator now holds a licence issued straight from the Curaçao Gaming Authority, and the private master licences of earlier years are gone, so a page still quoting the old eGaming sub-licence numbers is describing a system that no longer exists. One caution for this autumn: after break-ins it confirmed for 17 and 22 September 2026, the CGA took its licensing portal down, and on 2 October 2026 it was still unavailable. The authority states that licences granted before the incident keep their validity, so an empty lookup this month proves nothing either way.

Anjouan. To confirm a licence, click the seal in the casino’s footer, which carries its own ID. The authority itself does not handle complaints. They start from the seal link, the licensee has a month to resolve them, an argument about how a game ended must be raised within a 14-day window, while any case still open after that goes to an outside dispute service paid for by the operator. Tenobet’s licence is listed on the Anjouan register for Softon Ltd.

Tobique. Tobique’s commission is run by a First Nation community in the Canadian province of New Brunswick and licenses online operators whose players live abroad. As with Anjouan, use the seal link in the footer: 7Bit’s seal opened a validator page showing Saphirix Solutions SRL and a valid status in October 2026. Step-by-step checks for every register are in our licence-check guide, which also explains what to do while a register is offline.

MiCA and the EU travel rule: what changes for players?

EU law now regulates the companies that sell and hold your coins, not the offshore casinos you send them to. MiCA, the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/1114), became fully applicable on 30 December 2024, and the grace periods for firms already operating run out no later than 1 July 2026. In practice, the exchange or wallet provider you buy through must be authorised, while none of our four crypto casinos is an EU-licensed business.

Its companion, the transfer-of-funds rule in Regulation (EU) 2023/1113, took effect on that same date. Providers must now pass on who sends and who receives each crypto transfer. When more than EUR 1,000 moves between a provider and a private (self-hosted) wallet, the provider has to judge whether its own customer owns or controls that wallet. Expect your exchange to ask questions when you withdraw to a private wallet, or send directly to an outside address, above that line.

Tax reporting has tightened too. Under the EU’s DAC8 rules, crypto is covered from 1 January 2026, so providers report customers’ crypto transactions to tax authorities. Whether a stake made in coins counts as a taxable disposal depends on your country; in several EU states it does. Ask your own tax authority rather than relying on a casino’s marketing.

Bonuses in coins: what the four offers cost to clear

Crypto bonuses are priced in coins, but the maths is the same as for euro offers. BitStarz spreads a package worth up to 5 BTC, with 180 free spins, across the first four deposits, at 40x the bonus within seven days. 7Bit offers 325% up to 5.25 BTC plus 250 spins at 35x the bonus within 14 days. Tenobet sets playthrough inside each offer’s own terms. Stake has no welcome match at all.

A worked comparison for a 0.0018 BTC first deposit, matched 100% at each brand that offers a match:

Brand Bonus Bets required Spins at the bet limit Expected cost on a 96% slot
BitStarz (40x bonus) 0.0018 BTC 0.072 BTC 1,200 at 0.00006 BTC 0.00288 BTC
7Bit (35x bonus) 0.0018 BTC 0.063 BTC 5,250 at 0.000012 BTC 0.00252 BTC

In both cases the expected cost of the required betting is larger than the bonus, and 7Bit’s low bet limit means more than four times as many spins, which is a real burden over 14 days. Table and live games count only about 5% at BitStarz. Our bonus maths guide shows how to run the same sum on any offer, and you can always decline a bonus before depositing.

How fast does crypto leave each casino?

Speed has two parts: the time the casino needs to sign off a withdrawal, and the time the blockchain needs to confirm it. BitStarz’s section 8.7.1 commits it to attempt every payout within an hour and cites a ten-minute average, the only written target among the four. Tenobet aims for three banking days (6.6). Stake and 7Bit publish no processing time.

  • BitStarz: sixty-minute target, but substantial wins may be paid in monthly instalments (8.7.3), and a payout cannot start while any earlier deposit is still unconfirmed on its chain.
  • Stake: no time and no maximum in the terms; withdrawals return through the deposit method where possible (8.3).
  • 7Bit: the international terms allow at most EUR 10,000 across any seven days and EUR 40,000 per month.
  • Tenobet: a EUR 100 minimum, with ceilings of EUR 1,000 daily and EUR 10,000 monthly (6.13).

Withdraw to an address you control and have used before. Some exchanges hold or query incoming payments from gambling sites, which adds days that the casino cannot fix.

Stablecoin or bitcoin: which suits casino play better?

For most casino players a dollar stablecoin on a low-fee network is the more predictable choice, while bitcoin is the more widely accepted one. USDT and USDC aim to track the US dollar, so a balance held in them does not swing the way bitcoin does, although a euro-based player still carries the euro-dollar exchange rate. Bitcoin is accepted by all four casinos here and, at BitStarz, can travel over Lightning.

Question Bitcoin Dollar stablecoin
Value while you play Moves with the bitcoin price Aims to stay near one US dollar
Typical transfer cost Rises when the network is busy Depends on the chain; some are cheap, Ethereum can be dear
Wrong-network risk Lower: one main chain plus Lightning Higher: the same token on several chains
Bet limits in the terms Often quoted in BTC fractions (0.00006 BTC at BitStarz) Often quoted as 5 USDT or similar

Whichever you choose, stick to one coin and one network for both deposits and withdrawals. Mixing them multiplies the chances of a mislabelled transfer and makes your own records harder to follow when you later need to show where money came from.

Five cashier mistakes that cost players coins

A lost crypto deposit is usually caused on the sending side, before the casino ever sees the coins. Each of these errors has a simple guard.

  • Sending from an exchange account. Some exchanges freeze or question payments to gambling sites. Send from a wallet you control instead.
  • Depositing below the minimum. At BitStarz an amount under a coin’s minimum is neither credited nor returned. Read the figure on the cashier screen first.
  • Reusing an old address. Generate the address fresh from the cashier for every deposit.
  • Forgetting the memo or tag. Coins such as XRP may require a destination tag; if the cashier shows one, include it.
  • Withdrawing to a different wallet each time. It slows checks and confuses your records. Use one address you have tested.

A pre-deposit routine for any crypto casino

  1. Find the banned-countries clause in the terms and check both where you live and where you will be when you play. VPN use breaches the terms at Stake (14.4) and at most other casinos.
  2. Note the operator company and licence number from the footer, then verify through the register or the seal, as described above.
  3. Read the withdrawal section for the minimum, the daily or weekly cap, any fee clause and any deposit-turnover rule.
  4. Decide on the bonus before paying in. At 7Bit and BitStarz, once a deposit bonus runs, your deposit is tied to it.
  5. Set deposit and loss limits in the account first; Stake and BitStarz both offer them, and other casinos usually do too.
  6. Choose one coin and one network, send a small test, and keep the transaction hash.
  7. Prepare identity and address documents so a first larger withdrawal is not delayed.

Where each crypto casino fits

Each of the four suits a different reader, and none suits everyone. BitStarz fits players who move money often and want a written payout target. Stake fits low-edge, provably fair game fans who do not want a bonus at all. 7Bit is for slot fans after a lobby of more than 10,000 games who are comfortable with a Tobique licence. Tenobet fits small-stakes players who prefer a euro-denominated balance and can live with a EUR 1,000 daily cap.

For readers who value an EU regulator and an independent dispute body above coin choice, the Malta- and Estonia-licensed casinos we review score higher on licence, though they work in euros rather than coins. The full list of brands we have scored is on our casino reviews hub.

Questions readers send us about crypto casinos

Which crypto casino pays out fastest?

BitStarz is the only one of our four with a written target: section 8.7.1 of its terms says it attempts every payout within one hour, with a ten-minute average. Blockchain confirmation time comes on top.

Can I play at a crypto casino without verifying my identity?

Not reliably. Stake, BitStarz, 7Bit and Tenobet all reserve the right to ask for documents, and Tenobet checks identity on the first withdrawal. Being allowed to play small sums unverified at the start does not mean you will never be asked.

What if I send USDT on the wrong network?

Expect to lose it. BitStarz’s terms limit recovery attempts to transfers worth over $5,000, take a 0.1 BTC fee for trying and require you to report the error within a week. Always pick the network before copying the address.

Are crypto casinos licensed?

The four we review are. BitStarz and Stake hold Curaçao Gaming Authority licences, Tenobet an Anjouan licence and 7Bit a Tobique licence for most international visitors. None is licensed in the EU.

Does provably fair mean I cannot lose?

No. It proves each result was fixed before you bet, but the house edge stays: Stake’s Dice returns 99%, so 1% is kept on average. It also covers only games built on the seed system.

Does MiCA protect my casino balance?

No. MiCA regulates crypto-asset service providers such as EU exchanges and custodial wallets, not offshore casinos. Coins held at a Curaçao, Anjouan or Tobique casino are outside its scope.
